Barcelona get their fifth consecutive win as they beat Getafe
Samuel Eto'o slammed the ball inside Luís García's near post from 20 yards out with just 57 seconds on the clock as Barcelona repeated the trick of scoring early that helped them ease past Panathinaikos in midweek.
Despite the early strike, the Blaugrana did not have many othe clear cut opportuntities in a first half that they controlled, but after the break Ludovic Giuly netted the second and put the game beyond their hosts' reach.
Ronaldinho lifted the ball to the far side of the area where Eto'o controlled it and rolled it across the face of goal for Giuly to stroke home from close range with 68 minutes on the clock.
With 18 minutes remaining, Barça added another to their tally from an unexpected source. Ronaldinho stood over a free-kick 25 yards from goal, but it was Motta that stepped forward to curl the ball over the wall and past the keeper for his first goal in two years.
In the final minute, Getafe scored one of the goals of the season as Mariano Pernía volleyed a high cross into the opposite corner of Víctor Valdés' net from outside the area.
