Ronaldinho Gaucho admits that he is not happy about Sandro Rosell quiting as vice-president of his club, Barcelona. However, he claims that he is as committed as ever to playing for the side.
Rosell was fundamental in Ronaldinho's arriving two years ago but resigned from his post at the end of the last season after a long running feud with Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona.
"I lost a friend and a great professional who wont be my side, but my objectives are still the same. I will continue in Barcelona, working harder than ever because I want to achieve something great with this institution" said Ronaldinho.
"I want to grow everyday so as to help the club achieve its goals and Sandro Rosell will not affect my performance. It was a surprise that he went, I heard about the possibility that it would happen but nothing was sure. This things happen in football. It is not for me to explain it, my job is to play football and help Barca win titles, those are my main duties."
Ronaldinho is currently with the Brazilnational team as they gear up for the Confederations Cup in Germany, but he says that he is doing his best to keep in touch with what is happening during Barca's mini tour of Japan.
"It is difficult because of the difference in hours and because we are training morning and afternoon. When I can I look on the internet to see the situation and what is going on in Japan," he said.
