Everything is ready for the derby against Real Madrid

The most important and exciting derby in Spanish Football will take place on Saturday. Barcelona could effectively seal their second consecutive league title, and Ronaldinho is eager to beat Real Madrid like he did five months ago.

In Madrid everybody thinks about how to stop Ronaldinho. After tearing apart the Madrid defence in the Bernabeu last November, the Brazilian left the field to a generous ovation.

This time, Barcelona will play without injured defenders Rafael Marquez and Edmilson, and their dynamic Argentine forward Lionel Messi although skipper Carles Puyol returns after a one-match ban.

The Best Player; the Best Brand

His talent and charm are the greatest in the football world. Ronaldinho's talent made him the most commercially valuable footballer in the world, over super commercial stars David Beckham and Wayne Rooney, according to a study of brand value.

The Brazilian star's brand was worth 47 million euros followed by Beckham's at 44.9 million euros and Rooney's at 43.7 million euros.

British Beckham still has the best-known face in football, but Ronaldinho's comparative youth and recent achievements with Barcelona made him a more attractive marketing prospect, the consultancy said.

Indeed, the Barcelona's nidfielder has only 26, nearly five years younger than Beckham and was voted FIFA World Player of the Year the past two years.

"David Beckham owes his second place in the ranking to his status as the 'metrosexual' prototype and the lucrative contracts this generated for him," BBDO said.

The list also shows important players like Ronaldo, Henry, Lampard, Ballack and Messi.
