Ronaldinho working harder everyday
The popular Ronaldinho Gaucho got off his mark with a towering header in the Derby della Madonnina to hand the Diavoli an impressive win over city rivals Inter.
And the brazilian player added to his tally on Sunday, tucking away a spot-kick and then exchanging passes with compatriot Kaka before beating Samp keeper Luca Castellazzi with a precise angled strike.
There had been doubts over the past few weeks over his physical condition, seeing as he skipped the summer preparation altogether, due to his involvement with the Brazilian team at the Beijing Olympics, but fitness coach Daniele Tognaccini is reassuring.
"When he first arrived at Milanello, his condition was between 20 and 50 per cent," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"This was obviously not enough. The ideal situation to improve your fitness is to play once a week and train regularly during the remaining days.
"I believe that the winter training camp in Dubai will be essential, as he will have metabolized our methods by that time and we will have collected more data about him.
"I am so sure that he will hit peak condition in the new year. After all, his positive attitude is undoubtedly helping the process, as he is always happy and eager to work with the ball."
