Ronaldinho Gaucho calm about his future

According to all the newspaper, Ronaldinho out of the Catalan club, but the player is calm about his future, even though he is yet to reach an agreement with any club for next season.

Ronaldinho Gaucho and his team-mates Deco and Samuel Eto'o all moved a step closer to the Nou Camp exit door on Tuesday after new Barca coach Pep Guardiola revealed the star trio are not part of his plans for next season.

Indeed, the former World Footballer of the Year was well below his best last season and missed large chunks of the campaign through injury.

He still managed to attract some interest from AC Milan and Manchester City, while Chelsea are also rumoured to be interested in signing him.

Milan have since ended their attempts to take him to Italy, and the Brazilian is still unclear on where he will be playing next year.

But despite this Ronaldinho Gaucho, who is currently in his native Brazil resting before next season, suggested he would stay put should no team come in for him.

'I've got a contract with Barcelona until 2010 and I just have to stay calm,' he told Brazilian TV station SporTV.

'Until July 19 (when Barca pre-season training begins) lots of things can still happen, but all I'm worried about now is getting better and being able to play again as soon as possible and to get back in the national team as soon as possible.'

The brazilian talented striker continued to stress that his main concern at the moment was getting back to full fitness, rather than finding a new club, adding: 'If God wills it, I hope to be back playing as soon as possible.'

Finally, when asked by the Brazilian sports channel whether he preferred a move to England or Italy he simply replied: 'I really don't know.'
